Jorge Martin will be looking to regain the top spot in the MotoGP riders' standings by winning the
British MotoGP.

The Ducati Prima Pramac Racing rider endured a disappointing race at the most recent event on the 2024 calendar which was the German MotoGP on 7 July.
Martin started on the first grid and he was involved in an accident which saw him being forced to retire from the race, but he got 12 points from winning the sprint event.
MotoGP title ambitions
The 2018 Moto3 World Championship winner is now placed second in the MotoGP Riders' standings having accumulated 212 points from nine races.
Martin is 10 points behind the leader Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo Team with 11 races left in the current season.
Why Martin could win the 2024 British MotoGP
The former Red Bull KTM rider has failed to win the last four races and he knows he cannot afford any more slip-ups as he targets the MotoGP world title.
Martin, who has clinched two races in the current season, will be keen to display the form which saw him emerge victorious at the Portuguese MotoGP and French MotoGP.
What did he say?
"I wasn't the king of the paddock two laps before and I'm not the worst one now," Martin said after the 2024 German MotoGP.
"It's two laps difference, this is racing, this can happen. I'm the same rider as two laps before the end. I think I had an amazing weekend. Pole record.
"Then winning the sprint and today I almost won. It was really difficult for the others to catch me. So for sure if I improve this it will be difficult to beat me."
